  This is my grandparent's wedding picture. They got married in Bergen, Norway 29th March 1913 (almost 100 years ago...) My grandfather died in a German concentration camp in 1942 at the age of 52. These two ballet dancers I've inherited from my aunt. I remeber from the 1950s and -60s that she used them for decoration on the table when she had dinner parties. I think it's interesting to see how the prams has changed during the decades... The first picture is showing my mum's in 1927. The second one is my own from 1950 and the third one is my brother's from 1957. I would love to see other types of prams both from Norway and abroad. Anyone? RegardsStoresøster

This is a Norwegian birthday party for children in 1957. Here they have made the table with the finest tablecloth and the cups and plates that were only used for special occasions. The children were served hot chocolate with cream to drink and I remember that we were sitting around the table almost in "awe". This bottle is an old soda bottle. It has a really nice shape and I like the cap that's attatched to the bottle neck. It's made of porcelain and is somewhat different from today's plastic bottle caps... The name of the brewery (Hansa) is printed on the cap. This is a brewery in Bergen which is situated on the west coast in the south of Norway.   This kind of bottle is an old milk bottle.

I just wanted to show you this picture of my grandma. She was born in 1887 and this picture was taken when she was around 18 years old. Which means that this is around 1905... I wonder what she would have said had she known that one day she was going to be on the internet.....
