A gift from 1938

 

This beautiful, little bowl belonged to the couple in the wedding picture in the last post. It was a gift to their 25-years wedding anniversary in 1938.

The two pictures above are some kind of "scrap-pictures" from a margarine factory in Norway that was established in 1933. They were probably used for publicity. 

In the pictures below you can see the different types of margarine that they produced at the time. I like the old-fashioned type of design on the boxes...

This is a picture taken in Norway at the beginning of the 1930s. The pram looks like it's home made, but I still think it's very stylish....Imagine having one like this for your baby ?!
